The Risks of CO2 There is no reason to expose yourself to the risk of dangerous levels of CO2! Even a slight increase in CO2 concentration in the air is dangerous for humans. Normal outdoor air has an average CO2 concentration of only 0.04%. At a concentration of 1.5% CO2, humans react with an increased heart rate; at 4% CO2, there is an immediate danger to life and health (IDLH). However: All other modules are “configured”, such as an outdoor setup for sub-zero temperatures in winter conditions.
