Plate heat exchangers are commonly used for wort cooling in the beer brewing process. Using the counter-flow principle, the product (wort) is cooled by the cooling medium (cold water or glycol mixture).
All parts that come into contact with the medium are made of stainless steel.
The heat exchangers are vacuum brazed. They consist of stainless steel plates and copper solder; the connections are made of stainless steel.
Suitable for cooling the medium in a single pass.
